BLOG UPDATE: Home Prices May Be At The Bottom

Home Prices May Be At The Bottom

Some housing experts are predicting that we may be seeing the bottom of the weak housing market that we have experienced over the past several years.

Homes have never been more affordable. Nationally, prices have dropped 36% since 2006 and interest rates have remained low.

The Bucks and Montgomery County, PA, area has begun to see the improvement in the market. Inventory levels in certain pockets have stabilized over the past 6 months, and sales numbers have increased. These are both indicative of an improvement in the market.

A number of factors are contributing to this improvement, including a decline in foreclosures available for sale which compete for buyers attention, and improved job growth.  Also, mortgage lenders are beginning to offer programs that are allowing more flexibility in underwriting standards.

All in all, now may be the best time to cash in on the weak real estate market that we have seen over the past few years.  It appears to be coming to the end, and, as you know, it's always better to buy at the bottom!

Make it a great day!
